Tommorrow there will be two special elections for seats in state legislatures. The first one is for the New Hampshire state House, where Democrat Andy White is running against anti-choice and anti-marriage equality Republican Randy Wagoner for a seat that was vacated by a Democrat. The district includes Wards 1 through 3 in the town of Lebanon in Grafton county. One seat does make a difference, as marriage equality lost by a single vote in this chamber a few weeks ago.
The other special election is for a state Senate seat in Alabama(district 22) left open because of the death of a Democratic incumbent. The district includes Washington, Choctaw, Clark parts of Baldwin, Escambia, Conecuh, and Monroe counties. St Rep. Marc Keahey is running here for Democrats against Republican state Rep. Gred Albritton.
